The city, then the village.

Safi is on Morocco’s Atlantic coast — roughly two hours by road from Marrakesh, longer from Casablanca. Buses, grand taxis, and the rail network reach the city. From there, the Village des Potiers is a production neighbourhood, not a programmed visit organised by this site.

A few facts.

Does this site organise visits or workshops? +
No. This is a voluntary presentation of ceramics as a field. We do not book activities, demonstrations, or courses, and we take no payment.
Can I buy ceramics here? +
No. Pieces are made in the workshops. This site does not sell them, take orders, or handle shipping.
How do I get to Safi? +
By road from Marrakesh or Casablanca, by grand taxi or bus, or by rail (ONCF) with connections through those cities. Coordinates for the village are on this page.
Photographs in workshops? +
Ask first. Workshops are workplaces. Consent matters more than a picture.
